Flatland Submission Failure

Is the submission evaluator offline. i keep getting Submission failed for ‘undefined method [] for nil:NilClass’ which seems like a Ruby error.

RL Based Top Solution Missing?

Hi:

I am pretty sure that there was a solution tagged as ‘RL’ that made it to the top with leaderboard score < -0.1. I no longer see it. Just curious, what might have happened to it? Not that I am complaining just want to understand how high the score in pure RL based approach can go.

Also curious, as per the guidelines
The top three teams in the final round which use a reinforcement learning approach for their winning submission will be awarded one travel grant each.
Does it mean a pure multi-agent reinforcement learning approach or a hybrid approach, like mix of OR and RL (need to give it some thought on how to do it) be acceptable too? That would help me in focusing my efforts. Whether I should focus more on code efficiency (like last time’s winner using C++) or methodology experimentation?

I would really appreciate any guidance. Looking forward to your response.

Congratulations to the winners!

Feel bad that I missed out on this. Seems like an excellent opportunity to learn more about localization algorithms. I am assuming the winning solutions would be shared after end of round 2. Really looking forward to learn from them.

My understanding is that this challenge will be part of the competition track for the robotics conference. Hence the question regarding due dates and eligibility criteria.

Submission Error AMLD 2020

Hi:

Hopefully someone can help me here. I have submitted twice so far. Both times I get a cryptic failure message that 'Have you registered for the challenge?" which I have, of course. The first submission however generated a score on the leaderboard. The second one hasn’t show up so far. If I click on ‘View’ the submission, I get an error that I do not have authorization.

Could you please help me on this.

Google Cloud Credit - Round 2

Hi:

Starting a bit late, but my understanding is that being in Top 50 of Round 1 automatically moves me to Round 2 and I shall have access to google cloud credits? Is that a valid assessment?
